Synopsis:


Han Ji Eun is an internet novelist living alone in Full House, which her father had built, after her parents’ death in a car accident. Lee Young Jae is a top actor. He appears aloof and arrogant, but concealed within is a man who is hopelessly in love with his childhood friend Kang Hye Won, a fashion designer who is also YJ’s stylist. He does not have the courage to admit his feelings to Hye Won as he knows her heart is pining for Yoo Min Hyuk, a mutual childhood friend of YJ and HW.

JE is swindled of her Full House by her 2 bosom friends. The house is in turn sold to YJ. Both are stuck in an unresolved situation. At the same time, YJ is plagued by rumors about his relationships, which have damaged his image. In a pitch to salvage his reputation, YJ strikes a deal with JE. They have a “contractual” marriage, both agreeing to divorce in 6 months' time. JE will repay for the house by working as a housemaid for YJ and YJ will return JE her house when the contract is completed.

Despite their initial dislike for each other, JE and YJ learn to live together under the same roof. But the situation gets complicated when JE finds herself falling for YJ. When she sees YJ chasing for HW’s unrequited love, she finds it difficult to continue with the contract. Meanwhile, MH, who becomes JE’s publisher, finds himself falling for the wife of his childhood friend.

Jessie is tricked by her two best friends into going to a supposedly all-expenses-paid trip to Shanghai so they can sell her house behind her back. Jessie is suspicious but finally agrees. By chance, she meets famous Korean actor Justin on the airplane. She acts like a normal aren't-you-the-famous-actor fan type but Justin is very unfriendly.
When she gets to Shanghai, she realizes she has no hotel reservation and spending the only money she has on the taxi fare, no money to get back to Korea. She meets Luigi who helps her get a hotel room but she soon realizes she does not have the money to pay for the room either! She begs Justin to lend her money. But when the actor refuses, Jessie finds herself pretending that she has just broken up with Luigi who turns out to be one of Justin's childhood friends.
With her credit, Jessie returns to an empty house in Korea. Her two best friends are nowhere to be found and her bank savings has been zeroed out.
Justin also returns to Korea after finishing the filming of a movie in Shanghai. He immediately visits Lorraine, whom he obviously has feelings for. When Lorraine reveals she will be going to New York to study and that she might not come back, Justin is driven to propose to the woman he has loved all his life. Before he ever gets the chance though, he finds out that Lorraine is in love with Luigi instead. Justin is hurt and throws the engagement ring away.
When Jessie finally learns that her house has been sold, she tries to leave, but has nowhere else to go. So she stays by the doorstep to realize the house has been bought by none other than the actor Justin! Refusing to give up the only inheritance she received from her father, and Without any money to pay Justin back, Jessie accepts Justin's offer to be the house maid.
Lorraine admits her love to Luigi, only to be turned down. Luigi says he only sees her as a sister and further reasons that Justin is in love with her. Thinking that if she can get Justin out of the equation then Luigi will love her, Lorraine confronts Justin asking him of his supposed love towards her.
Put in a difficult situation, Justin ends up saying he is in love with Jessie. They take it a step further, though, when both Justin and Jessie agree on a contract marriage. Jessie gets the Full House back after 6 months, when they have both agreed to divorce.
When Lorraine sees Justin with another girl, she realizes she does not want Justin to be had by another girl. She constantly asks Justin out. Jessie, however, starts to fall for Justin. When she discovers Lorraine has feelings for Justin and sees how Justin cares for Lorraine, she is heartbroken and demands a divorce.
Luigi hires Jessie as a writer. He is obviously taken by her and he constantly asks her out on lunch and dinner dates. Jessie finds a mentor, a friend, and a shoulder to cry on Luigi and soon, she asks Justin if it is okay to like Luigi.
But Justin has fallen in love with Jessie. Lorraine later realizes this and finally gives way. Justin does not want Jessie to go to Luigi but when the news breaks out that he and Jessie are only in a contract marriage he is forced to give Jessie a divorce. Jessie tells him how hurt she has been all the time she's been married to him. Hoping to finally be able to let Jessie be happy, Justin finds recluse in a monk after announcing their divorce and his love for her to the world. (Up to this point, though, Justin has never admitted it to Jessie that he loves her)
With Justin gone, and with their divorced marriage, Luigi finally proposes to Jessie. Jessie does not say either yes or no but Luigi says he will wait.
Justin comes down from the monastery after he is tricked into thinking that Jessie is sick and was abandoned by Luigi. He plans to propose to Jessie. He later finds out neither is true but with news of Luigi's proposal, Justin again gives way and leaves the Full House.
Jessie realizes it is never going to be the same without Justin. She says it is very tiring to always be waiting for Justin. At that, she tells Luigi not to wait for her anymore (she refuses his marriage proposal).
Justin goes back not knowing Jessie has told Luigi off. He is more determined to get Jessie back before she goes to Luigi. He goes to great lengths to get her to marry him again (He actually proposes twice). When he finally reveals the depths of his love to Jessie, she agrees and they kiss and they finally end up in each other's arms.
